Research into Commercial Products and Defining Team Roles for Better Success

The Wayside Power Team seeks to integrate commercially available products into the 2019-2020 design. In current progress the team found profound interest in certain products provided by various companies, including Conductix for third rail and Schunk Group for third rail connectors. The team continues to seek various available means to improve the wayside power design for application into Spartan Superway.

After Wayside Power Team's first presentation, the team unanimously agreed to rework the team structure to provide improved and more consistent results for future work. In accordance the team designated members to certain task as follows:

Restructuring the team and more clearly defining team roles will help us better succeed for the future endeavor wayside power has to offer. Furthermore the team has also created a Gantt chart to illustrate the teams long term goals to succeed. This will help the team continue to work against the challenge of busy schedules and deadlines from other projects and classes that it currently faces.
